Early Literacy Workshop at the library

Montgomery Town Library and Building Bright Futures are teaming up for an Early Literacy Workshop starting later this month.

The foundation for literacy begins in early childhood, far earlier than many people realize. This workshop will share research in early childhood brain development, discuss the 6 skills of early literacy, and show parents fun ways they can help their child get a good start on learning. For more info, please see this flyer: here.

This program is sponsored by the Vermont Early Literacy Initiative, a project run by the Vermont State Department of Libraries—with a grant from the Winnie Belle Learned Fund through the generosity of Dr. Burnett Rawson— and The Vermont Center for The Book, with the assistance of Henderson grant.
