Montgomery Town Library’s Volunteers

Montgomery Town Library would not be the library it is without our amazing volunteers! Most of them commit two hours per week, every week throughout the year, staffing the circulation desk and assisting with tasks that keep this library running. A few others help with special projects and/or are substitutes when our regular desk volunteers need time off.

Maybe not everyone knows this, but without our volunteers, MTL would be open only about 8 hours a week. Instead, we’re open 26 hours, which is very unusual for libraries in towns our size, and, to our knowledge, unique among libraries in Vermont receiving similar levels of tax support. Our dedicated volunteers do so much to make MTL a warm, friendly, and accessible library for our community.

Thank You, Volunteers!

A big thank you, also, to the following businesses for contributing to our Volunteer Appreciation Party tomorrow afternoon!

First Trax
Sylvester’s Market
Bernie’s Restaurant
The Snowshoe
Mountain Spirit Herbals
Phineas Swann
TJ’s Country Store
Better Living Massage
Lutz’s Automotive
Montgomery Pizza and Subs
